Two limited edition pilot's watches are presented here—a chronograph and an automatic—based on classic models from the IWC catalog (specifically, the Pilot's Chronograph 41 and Pilot's Automatic 41).
While the 41mm case size is still relatively large, it's just right for IWC. The brand established its position with its moderately sized 39mm pilot's watches launched in the 1990s. However, after the turn of the millennium, IWC followed the trend of oversized watches until the 41mm version was introduced a few years ago.
Both George Russell watches retain this classic proportion, with cases crafted from black zirconium oxide ceramic, a material first introduced by IWC forty years ago. From the unique material of the case to the dial, the watch boasts a sleek black exterior.
